Skiing-x-country and downhill are just minutes away.

There are miles of backcountry trails that are great venues for cross-country skiing in the winter as well as two cross-country facilities with groomed and ungroomed trails near Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski Resorts.  Bridger Bowl and Bohart Cross- Country Ranch are approximately 16 miles from Bozeman.  Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin and Lone Mountain Ranch are located about 50 miles from Bozeman.

This community gem is known for its incredible terrain spanning 1,500 skiable acres, and its reputation for spawning some of the best skiers in the world. Bridger Bowl is also renown for offering one of the best ski experiences for the money anywhere in the world!

Bridger Bowl Ski area has provided quality service for more than 49 years as a private, nonprofit ski area. This status translates to incredible value and savings for visiting skiers. The full day adult lift ticket is only $36.

Unspoiled charm and pristine alpine surroundings set Bridger Bowl apart from most other major ski resorts. The Bridger Range offers classic Rocky Mountain features: Large, snow-filled bowls, beautiful alpine glades and wide open slopes. With an average snowfall of 350 inches and 2,000 vertical feet of lift served terrain (plus an additional 500 vertical for those hiking to the ridge), Bridger Bowl offers an incredible variety of terrain for skiers of all abilities.

The first-time ski and board learning area, called Glenn’s Glade, offers a special, low-speed triple chairlift, called Snowflake, which serves this learners slope. The slope is 400 feet long, 80 feet wide and rises 40 vertical feet. This makes an ideal 10 percent grade for learning to ski and snowboard, as well as, become familiar with chair lifts.

FaceShots, an espresso and aprés ski bar located in the east wing of the Jim Bridger Lodge cafeteria, offers cafeteria diners in a very comfortable and fun environment. The facility’s design, Bose Sound System and decor make this area warm and inviting for everyone to enjoy before, during and after a great day on the slopes. This base area facility is also the home of Jimmy B’s Bar and Grill, a great full service dining area to enjoy fireside lunches and drinks during or after the ski day.

At mid-mountain, the Deer Park Chalet has seating for 295 people. This beautiful post and beam facility has a 3,000 square foot deck for an additional 120 people to enjoy slope-side barbecue lunches. Between these three dining facilities, Bridger now has indoor seating for nearly 600 people.

Bridger Bowl Ski School offers group and private lessons daily for skiing and snowboarding. Ridge tours are also available. The daycare center provides specialized programs including lunch and supervision for kids between 18 months and 6 years.  The First Tracks ski program incorporates a ski lesson for kids in half and full day programs. Advance reservations are recommended.

Bridger Bowl also has a rental and retail shop providing competitive prices on rental skis and snowboards, as well as all the accessories, gifts and Bridger Bowl memorabilia you need.

Just past Bridger Bowl, Bohart Ranch offers multi-terrain nordic skiing of 30Km scenic trail system situated on private and Forest Service lands, loops through terrain well suited to all levels of ability.
